Jordanian king calls on world to disarm Israel’s alleged nukes

April 26, 2006 -- Jordan’s King Abdullah has called on the world to require Israel to disarm its nuclear weapons.

 

Israel has persistently refused to acknowledge that it has any nuclear weapons.

 

Abdullah said a precondition for peace in the region is for “Israel to give up its nuclear weapons.”

 

Comments:  For years, Egypt, the acclaimed leader of the Arab world, had lobbied the world community to pressure Israel to surrender her nukes.  That tactic failed again and again.  Now we have a renewed effort from Jordan’s King Abdullah.  If enough voices resonate for the same plea, perhaps the realization of the stated objective will finally come to pass.  “The squeaky wheel gets the grease”, they say.  Why should Iran be compelled to abandon its infant-stage nuclear program (purportedly for peaceful energy purposes) when Israel has allegedly (does she or doesn’t she?; only Israel’s hairdresser knows for sure) stockpiled her armaments with nukes that can be delivered via radar avoiding bombers and Mediterranean Sea (German built) submarines?  That would be blatantly unfair; a double standard.

 

Jordan’s king is right on the mark on this one.  No Mideast peace treaty can be forged and maintained without Israel surrendering her nukes.  All parties must give up their weapons of mass destruction including ballistic missiles, biological and chemical weapons.  How else can peace be achieved?  Peace means laying down one’s arms.  Israel has to receive some iron glad guarantees that her existence as a nation will not be threatened.  If some world power can convince her that, she will surrender all but her basic military defense forces.  Daniel 9:27 speaks of a soon coming day when Israel does enter into a comprehensive peace accord with her neighbors, therefore, a Mideast nuclear free zone may just be around the corner.

 

'Amman Declaration' urges more dialogue between the West and Muslims

April 26, 2006 -- Jordan and Spain on Monday signed a declaration, calling for more dialogue, cooperation and understanding between Western and Muslim civilisations.

 

The “Amman Declaration” stresses that ties between the two cultures should be built on integration and mutual respect rather than clash and rivalry.

 

It urges Arabs and Muslims in the West as well as Western communities in the Arab and Muslim worlds to extend bridges of understanding and accord between the two civilisations.

 

The document, signed by Foreign Minister Abdul Ilah Khatib and his Spanish counterpart Miguel Angel Moratinos, also calls for confronting extremist ideologies and preventing terror groups from imposing their agendas.

 

Highlighting the importance of the Amman Message, the declaration supports the Cultural Alliance Initiative which was launched by Spain.

 

The Amman Declaration cautions against using the freedom of speech to vilify religious beliefs of nations.

 

Moratinos accompanied King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia during a three-day official visit.

 

King Abdullah and Queen Rania yesterday received the Spanish royal couple, who are expected to meet with Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit, Senate President Zeid Rifai and House Speaker Abdul Hadi Majali.

 

King Carlos was also scheduled to address the Spanish-Jordanian Business Forum.

 

On Monday, King Abdullah told the Spanish El Pais daily that establishing peace in the Middle East was likely to help create a region free of weapons of mass destruction. Peace cannot be achieved, he said, without finding a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

 

The King reiterated that the Iranian nuclear issue should be addressed through dialogue. “If we say no to Iran's nuclear weapons, we should say no to other countries,” he said.

 

King Abdullah said he told EU leaders that the disruption of aid to the Palestinians would aggravate the situation in the Palestinian territories. King Abdullah described the Spanish monarch as “a voice of moderation whose hand was always extended to Jordan and other Arab countries.”

 

Comments:  The two royal amigos: King Juan Carlos and King Abdullah.  Two peas in the same pod.  Two men of peace.  Two men born to rule and who have received military training in the West.  One may very well turn out to be the man of fierce countenance, i.e., the Antichrist.  Both men are vying for that dubious title that will guarantee a parking space in the lake of fire.  If I were them, I would say “No, thank you”.

 

Some Bible prophecy authors and students have been watching these two kings with intense interest.  Spain was the 11th nation (Daniel 7:8 & 8:9’s little horn?) to join the European Economic Community (present day EU).  Spain’s king has the same initials (JC) as Jesus Christ.  The Spanish monarch still has the title “King of Jerusalem”.

 

Jordan is the seat of the Hashemite Kingdom.  Jordan holds the keys to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and has a big say in its Final Status determination.  Jordan presently is at peace with Israel and King Abdullah is well respected among the Jews.

 

This Amman Declaration is intended to encourage the implementation of concrete steps toward cementing peaceful co-operation between the West and Islam.  World peace cannot come about without such co-operation for the two ideologies are too polarized.  The memories of European Crusades of past centuries must be set aside.  The future is what transfixes these two monarchs.  Both vow to work alongside each other to bring about peace between the West and the Muslims and peace between Israel and her surrounding neighbors.  Quite a formidable task indeed, but these two powerful men are not easily deterred.  The harder the task, the more satisfaction is derived.  They’re up to the challenge.

 

Plans to turn Tel Aviv into international gay tourist destination

Work is underway in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism to turn Tel Aviv into the international tourist destination for the gay-lesbian community in order to boost business in restaurants, hotels, city attraction sites and beaches.

 

"Gay tourism has been accelerated lately, and we are entitled to large support from the Tel Aviv Hotels Union and the Ministry of Tourism," Shay Deutsch, spokesperson of the gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual community, said Wednesday.

 

"Travel agents in Germany, Turkey and Holland have started promoting special weekend packages to Tel Aviv. Even during the large tourism fair in San Francisco in October a stall will represent Israel and distribute leaflets promoting gay tourism in Tel Aviv," Deutsch added.

 

As part of the fight for pink tourism, a new Israeli-international Web site promoting gay tourism will be launched. Gay Map includes sites in Tel Aviv specialized in gay tourism.

 

Comments:  How the Lord must grieve in His heart to see the apple (Israel) of His eyes degenerate to the same depraved level as the gentile nations.  Israel has gone a whoring with the rest of the world.  She’s spiritual blind and morally bankrupt.  In her quest to be accepted by the world and her insatiable appetite for profits, she is prostituting herself by selling her wares, i.e. she is displaying her daughter Tel Aviv for the gay and lesbian perverts to gaze upon and defile.

 

Tel Aviv is the official capital of Israel for many nations of the world.  Although Israel conducts her political business from West Jerusalem, almost all countries (including the U.S. and Canada) recognize Tel Aviv as the capital, not Jerusalem.  As such, Tel Aviv’s desire to be the first Hebrew gay city only hi-lites the large moral zit that’s splattered on Israel’s face.  There’s no glory but shame in that distinction.  God didn’t spare Sodom and God certainly won’t condone what Tel Aviv is trying to do.  Judgment upon the State of Israel is certain and God will use the Antichrist as His instrument to carry out the sentence during the Tribulation Period.  If the Hebrew people think that just because they are God’s chosen people and are immune to God’s wrath, they have another thing coming.  Sins carry with it dire consequences.

 

Iran 'worst threat to Jews since Hitler'

April 26, 2006 -- Iran's nuclear programme is the most serious threat faced by Jews since the Nazi Holocaust, Israel's defence minister has said.

 

Shaul Mofaz said: "Of all the threats we face, Iran is the biggest. The world must not wait. It must do everything necessary on a diplomatic level in order to stop its nuclear activity."

 

He added: "Since Hitler we have not faced such a threat."

 

Iran insists that its nuclear programme is aimed solely at producing energy, and that it has no ambitions to acquire an atomic arsenal.

 

Comments:  Deranged Nazi Party fuhrer Adolph Hitler (an Austrian) condemned 6,000,000 Jews and other ethic nationalities to the gas chambers in several “death” camps (Auschwitz and Treblinka) inside Poland during WW2.  This genocide is known as the Holocaust.  Skin heads, Neo‑Nazis and Aryan Nation members keep denying that this autrocity against the Jews ever happened as the history books have documented.  The post‑WW2 Neuremberg Trials attest to the unedniable facts as several war criminals were hung from the gallows for their part in the murders.

 

Iran’s persistent threats to wipe Israel off the face of the world’s maps have Israel deeply concerned.  The Iraninan president sure sounds like Hitler 2 with his saber rattling.  He’s an anti-Semite of the highest degree.  A diplomatic solution might save a few billion dollars of air sorties by U.S. bombers flying missions to bust Iran’s supsected underground nuclear facilities.  Iran has defied the world community so far so now it’s time to stop the talking and do the walking.  Nothing short of a military intervention will torpedo Iran’s aspirations to construct nukes that can reach all the cities and towns inside Israel.  Mushroom clouds bellowing from Israel’s direction would make the Iranians happier than a man’s whose paternity tests just proved negative.

 

From a Bible prophecy standapoint, Iran may have raised the specter of Hitler, but a more cruel and genocidal madman looms in the immediate horizon.  His name is the Antichrist.  He will not only hunt down and massacre Christians, but Jews numbering in the millions as well.  He’ll make Hitler look like a minor leaguer by comparison.

Americans would vote for an evangelical or Muslim for U.S. President

April 26, 2006 -- Many adults in the United States would not see faith as a deterrent for a politician seeking the nation’s highest office, according to poll by Ipsos-Reid released by CanWest Global. 64 per cent of respondents say they would be willing to vote for a presidential candidate who was an Evangelical, and 63 per cent would back a Muslim.

 

During his first term, Bush endeavoured to develop faith-based initiatives. The strategy dispenses federal funds to religious and community organizations, which in turn develop assistance programs. The policy has faced criticism for allegedly ignoring the separation between church and state. 52 per cent of respondents say they would vote for an atheist presidential contender.

 

Comments:  Despite September 11, 2001 (911) and the war against Islam in Afghanistan and in Iraq, Americans believe a Muslim President is simply peachy.  How else do you explain that 63% would vote for a Muslim?  Perhaps they believe if America is governed by a Muslim, all Osama bin Laden threats and attacks against America would cease?  Or they have swallowed President Bush’s assertion that Islam is a peaceful religion and that only a few radical rotten apples have spoiled the bushel of fruit?  Gullible Americans.

 

Islam’s aim is to destroy America (the Great Satan) through terror and violence.  Why single out the U.S.?  It’s because of America’s unwavering support (political, military and monetary) of the Jewish State.  Israel is God’s chosen people and Americans are being used of the Lord as Israel’s protectorate.  This infuriates the Muslims to no end, thus the 2‑prong attacks against Israel and against the USA.

 

A Muslim in the White House will spell the end of democrasy as we know it. Islam would see to it that its subjects adhere to rigid rules and live spartan lives to Allah’s glory.  The hedonistic lifestyle that many hail as the people’s right will be outlawed and any that are caught will be summarily beheaded.  If the Antichrist turns out to be a Muslim, many of his Muslim overlords would occupy leadership positions in the nations of the world including Ameica.  There’s a saying, “Be careful for what you ask for, you might just get it.”
