Saudis to transfer $92 million to Palestinian Authority

Saudi Arabia announced Tuesday that they would transfer $92 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority. Their declaration of support for the PA comes after Russia said it would transfer $10 million, Iran $50 million, and Qatar an additional $50 million for a total of over $200 million.
After meeting with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, PA Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar said that the Saudis had agreed to give $92 million in aid to the Palestinians. He added that at the meeting the two had also discussed the collapsing Palestinian economy and ways of ending the new Hamas-led government's current international isolation, Israel Radio reported.
Comments: In the wake of this morning’s suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. This can only be viewed as condoning bad behaviour. Circumventing meaningful economic sanctions only encourages the new PA government in its policy of terror. It is interesting to note that many of these rogue nations are specifically named in Ezekiel 38, and I believe that the Ezekiel 38 war will arise from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Add to the mix a story I saw stating that the Saudis are now consulting with the Pakistanis on “defense matters.” (Read “nuclear weapons,”) There is no excuse for financially supporting Islamic terror, and the judgement of God will be swift and terrible.
Moussaoui's Mental Health Debated in Court

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The defense portrayed Zacarias Moussaoui as a delusional psychotic Tuesday who reversed tactics and strategy constantly, while a prosecutor pointed out how well the confessed Sept. 11 conspirator has controlled his behavior under the stress of being on trial for his life.
Moussaoui himself best captured the day in one of his shouted comments on leaving court for a break: "Crazy or not crazy? That is the question."
Defense attorney Gerald Zerkin set the day on a course few juries have seen: He opened the defense team's files to show how they concluded their own client cannot be believed.
Struggling to save Moussaoui's life, they claim he twice testified falsely to a greater role than he had in the Sept. 11, 2001, al-Qaida attacks in hope of achieving martyrdom through execution or enhancing his role in history...
The jury has found Moussaoui eligible for execution. Although Moussaoui was in jail on Sept. 11, 2001, the jury ruled that lies he told federal agents before 9/11 kept them from identifying and stopping some of the hijackers. The jury must choose between execution and life in prison.
Comments: Mentally ill or not, this man deserves the death penalty, if only because we cannot afford to have him disseminate his brand of hatred in a prison’s general population. He is unquestionably guilty of capital murder. He participated in a criminal conspiracy (Dare I call it an act of war?); three thousand people died as a result. He is, under our capital murder laws, just as guilty as the actual hijackers who have now received ultimate justice in a much sterner and higher Court. My only prayer for him is that before the sentence is carried out he would be introduced to the true Gospel and accepts Jesus as his Lord and Saviour before it is too late.

Chirac: Hamas must understand that violence is a dead end

French President Jacques Chirac criticized Hamas, saying in an interview published Wednesday that Hamas must continue to respect a truce with Israel and understand that "violence is a dead end" for the Palestinians.
"As of now, we call on Hamas to understand that the path of violence is a dead end, and to pursue its transition toward political action by continuing to respect the truce and committing to a process of renunciation of violence and recognition of Israel," Chirac said in the interview before embarking Wednesday on a two-day trip to Egypt.
Responding to Monday's suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, in which nine people were killed, a Turkish official said Tuesday that Hamas' statements on terrorist attacks are not helpful to the political process.
Comments: Either Chirac has no idea how prophetic his comments are or (not likely) he has been reading Ezekiel 38. The alliance is coming together rapidly, and Jordan will be dragged in, whether willingly or unwillingly.
The ironic thing is that the legitimate interests of the Palestinian people would be best served by peaceful integration into the democratic state of Israel.

NYPD deploys first of 500 security cameras

April 18, 2006 -- Along a gritty stretch of street in Brooklyn, police this month quietly launched an ambitious plan to combat street crime and terrorism. But instead of cops on the beat, wireless video cameras peer down from lamp posts about 30 feet above the sidewalk.
They were the first installment of a program to place 500 cameras throughout the city at a cost of $9 million. Hundreds of additional cameras could follow if the city receives $81.5 million in federal grants it has requested to safeguard Lower Manhattan and parts of midtown with a surveillance "ring of steel" modeled after security measures in London's financial district.
Comments: Big Brother is watching over all of us. It’s the “Brave New World” and “1984” coming to a city near you. For decades now, freedom watchdogs have been warning us that governments will one day soon monitor our every move and now it’s upon us. You can run and try to hide, but they’re (the cops) going to seek and flush you out like quails in the bush. Who are you going to call? Street Crime Buster!
The by-product of September 11, 2001 (911) has led to ultra hi‑tech security cameras that are supposed to deter would be terrorists and ordinary criminals. It will achieve that objective and very effectively I might add. The New World Order proponents have their analysts testing and poring over the results. New technologies will be unveiled quicker than you can say “Jack Robinson”. Step by step, it’s all leading to a dictatorship to be bestowed upon Satan’s appointed Antichrist. The Beast didn’t roar in 84, but it’s about to devour this world after our Up‑lifter (our Lord Jesus Christ) takes us believers away in the Rapture.

Supreme Court declines Falwell Web appeal

April 19, 2006 -- Evangelist Jerry Falwell lost a U.S. Supreme Court appeal Monday of a case that sought to shut down a Web site with a similar name but opposite views on homosexuals.
Falwell claims that a gay man from New York City improperly draws people to a site by using a common misspelling of the reverend's name as the site's domain name.
A federal judge sided with Falwell, whose ministry based in Virginia but has ties around the world, on grounds that Christopher Lamparello's domain name was nearly identical to the trademark bearing Falwell's name and could confuse Web surfers.
Last year, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed and said Lamparello was free to operate his "gripe site" about Falwell's views on gays at http://www.fallwell.com. Lamparello "clearly created his Web site intending only to provide a forum to criticize ideas, not to steal customers," the court said.
The Supreme Court has now refused to take Falwell’s appeal of that ruling.
Falwell's Web site, http://www.falwell.com, is more high-tech, with pictures of the minister and sales material for books and videos.
Comments: The Devil has had more than 6,000 years of wily experience. He’s the accuser of the brethren and the fierce hater of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jerry Falwell, being the Christian foot soldier at the front of the battle line, knows first hand the daily bombardments he receives from the Devil’s henchmen. The gays and lesbians of this world are ferocious battlers. They have come out of the closet and there’s no way they’ll surrender their bitterly fought rights and freedoms. Like the Pandora Box, once the lid was opened, it was game over. The damage had been done and there’s no way to undo it.
Jerry Falwell can take heart that the battle is really between God and the Devil and we all know who will be victorious at the end. Falwell has voiced his Biblical based opinions on the abhorrent alternative lifestyle and some folks have repented of their sin and returned to the heterosexual way. Falwell has done his job. Way to go, Jerry!
His critics want to silence him or at the very least, attempt to discredit him. They’re trying to break down his door of resistance to the homosexual agenda. Like the days of Lot when the homosexual gang wanted to take the two angels Lot was protecting and have their way with them, so shall it be in the last days when gays and lesbians will use all means to force their way into the homes of ordinary citizens.

Tom Cruise says baby won't be baptized

April 18, 2006 -- Katie Holmes was raised Catholic, but her baby with Tom Cruise won't be baptized.
Cruise told Diane Sawyer in an upcoming interview that "you can be Catholic and be a Scientologist. You can be Jewish and be a Scientologist. But we're just Scientologists."
Cruise shrugs off stories of friction with Holmes' Catholic family and told Sawyer he's close with "the whole family." And, he said "absolutely, yes" -- they approve of Scientology. Cruise also confirmed that Holmes will go along with Scientology's practice of quiet birth.
Comments: 2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The wife (and expectant mother) is Catholic while the husband (and future father) is a member of a cult. Both are deemed to be religious and presumably intelligent yet Ms. Holmes believes in water baptism as if it has any redeeming value. Tom Cruise gets brownie points for not opting for baptism; you’re just getting a wet baby.
Water doesn’t forgive sins; only the blood (1 John 1:7) of Jesus Christ can wash our sins away. A person can possess all the religion in the world, but unless he/she believes what the Bible says, it will all be for naught. To add to the tragedy is that many people worship the very ground Katie Holmes walks on. “Monkeys see, monkeys do”, they say. Many a set of parents will take their infant to the priest for water baptism and then tell the child later on that they had been baptized on such and such a date. The child then assumes that he/she is alright with God, but it’s a falsehood.
Satan, the deceiver of mankind, smirks and and relishes in religious folks being sincerely taken in by his soul damming lies. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Comments: John Hagee is one of the good apples in televangelism and has his priorities in the right place. He is 100% behind the Jewish people and Israel. He is not afraid to speak the truth in Jesus name and stands up for what he believes in. If there was a top 10 list of Christian speakers, I would place him right near the top of the list. European Union High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana begins on Thursday a tour of Indonesia and Japan for talks on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
Solana will have a series of meetings with political leaders in Jakarta on Friday including the country's president, vice-president and foreign minister. An important part of Solana's trip will be a visit to Aceh on Saturday, where the EU is currently supporting the peace process there by participating in the Aceh Monitoring Mission and is assisting the post-tsunami reconstruction effort, according to a statement issued by Solana's office in Brussels on Wednesday.
Comments: Javier Solana is making his way to Southeast Asia tomorrow and like I said in the April 7th news letter (regarding Javier Solana) “Come to think of it, he has been promoting peace, stability good governance and the rule of law from Africa, the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East and any conflict that rears its ugly head in the world. Cartoons included”.
This is another example of Javier Solana globe trotting around the world promoting peace. By the time the Antichrist comes on the scene there won’t be any peace (False peace) left to promote. It will already be done by Javier Solana.
