Iran Has Missiles To Carry Nuclear Warheads

Iran has successfully developed ballistic missiles with the capability to carry nuclear warheads.

 

Detailed analysis of recent test firings of the Shahab-3 ballistic missile by military experts has concluded that Iran has been able to modify the nose cone to carry a basic nuclear bomb. The discovery will intensify international pressure on Teheran to provide a comprehensive breakdown of its nuclear research programme.

 

Last week, the United Nations Security Council gave Iran 30 days to freeze its uranium enrichment programme that many experts believe is part of a clandestine attempt to produce nuclear weapons.

 

Comments: If true, this is an ominous development. It seems that the world is marching inevitably toward Ezekiel 38. The powers aligned against Israel need only to open their Old Testaments to see the fate that will inevitably befall them, but God’s Word says they will not.

 

Ezekiel 38:3-9 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Pakistan, Spain stress inter-faith talks: Aziz meets Zapatero

MADRID, April 7: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and his Spanish counterpart Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero on Friday jointly made a passionate plea for promoting dialogue among civilizations and religions.

 

They said such a dialogue was necessary to establish lasting interfaith and inter-civilizational harmony and world peace.

 

They reiterated commitment to fight terrorism and to work for improving relations and understanding among the followers of different religions.

 

The Spanish prime minister explained how his government had handled the cartoon controversy in his country and pre-empted attempts by some quarters to turn it into an ugly confrontation.

 

Mr. Aziz said Islam was a most misunderstood religion and it was one of the objectives of his government to clear the negative image of Islam and present it in its true perspective to the world.

 

The two prime ministers had an hour-long meeting before Mr. Aziz left for Segovia, a retreat 70 km from Madrid, for the second phase of a high-level panel meeting for fundamental review of the UN’s operational work. The first phase was held in New York on April 4-6.

 

The two prime ministers agreed that a lasting solution of the threat of terrorism could not be found unless its root causes were addressed.

 

They agreed to explore the possibility of forging cooperation in security matters and establishing an air link between Pakistan and Spain.

 

Mr. Zapatero said his country was keen to boost ties with Pakistan, also in the field of trade, and he would send a mission to Pakistan to explore the possibilities of expanding bilateral trade.

 

Comments: These talks lead directly to the False Prophet of Revelation, who will perform lying miracles for the glorification of the Antichrist.

 

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

 

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

 

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

 

I am somewhat reluctant to tie the False Prophet directly to the Roman Catholic Church, as it looks like he will come out of the ecumenical movement now sweeping the world. Like the Antichrist, he could be someone we’ve never heard of, although I suppose he could be a future Pope. Or he could possibly be someone out of the heretical World Council of Churches (WCC).

 

 

Haniyeh defiant despite aid cuts to Palestinians

GAZA (Reuters) - Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said on Saturday his government would not bow to foreign pressure to recognize Israel and disavow violence despite funding cuts that are pushing the Palestinian Authority to financial collapse.

 

As Haniyeh stood firm on his refusal to moderate the policies of his militant Islamist Hamas movement, Israel stepped up pressure with a second deadly air attack against militants in two days. Two gunmen died as they drove in their car.

 

Since taking office last week, Haniyeh has faced violence with Israel which prompted vows of revenge by Hamas's armed wing as well as a clash with the international community over aid and tension with President Mahmoud Abbas over his powers.

 

The United States and the European Commission suspended direct aid on Friday to Haniyeh's new Hamas-led government until it renounced violence, recognized Israel's right to exist and supported internationally backed Middle East peace initiatives.

 

Comments: Another step along the road to Ezekiel 38. (See Scriptures quoted above.)  Hamas will push Israel, which will push back, leading to another push by Hamas, eventually leading the Gog alliance to step in and be destroyed by the hand of God. The shortfall in funds will only exacerbate the situation. In my opinion only, we might be here to see this before the Rapture and Tribulation intervene, as one last warning of the awesome power of God. Bird flu could kill 100,000 British children: report

LONDON (Reuters) - A bird flu pandemic among humans could kill 100,000 children in Britain, said a government health adviser who recommended schools draw up plans to close in the event of an outbreak, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

 

The Sunday Times quoted government health adviser Liam Donaldson as saying in a confidential letter to the schools minister that if the virus was particularly severe, deaths among school-age children "could be as high as 100,000."

 

"This would mean that potentially 50,000 deaths might be prevented by school closures," Donaldson was quoted as saying.

 

"For this reason, I would recommend that schools should be planning on the basis that they may have to close for part or all of the pandemic," he said.

 

The overall death toll in Britain in a severe outbreak of the disease could be as high as 700,000, (emphasis added, David) the Sunday Times quoted Donaldson as writing.

 

Comments: Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

 

The bird flu could be just a shadow of things to come, or it could lie dormant until its time comes round during the tribulation. Abortion rights group invokes God in birth control controversy

April 7, 2006 -- In any given week, if you walked into one of Washington's big corporate hotels early in the morning, you would find a community of the faithful, quite often conservative Christians, rallying the troops, offering solace and decrying the opposition at a prayer breakfast.

 

So you might be forgiven for thinking that such a group was recently in attendance in a ballroom of the Washington Hilton. People wearing clerical collars and small crucifixes were wedged at tables laden with muffins, bowing their heads in prayer. Seminarians were welcomed. Scripture was cited. But the name of the sponsor cast everything in a new light: the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

 

To its critics, Planned Parenthood is the godless super-merchant of abortion. To its supporters, it is the dependably secular defender of abortion rights. But at this breakfast, God was everywhere.

 

"We are here this morning because, through our collective efforts, we are agents in bringing our fragile world ever closer to the promise of redemption," Rabbi Dennis S. Ross, director of Concerned Clergy for Choice, told the audience. "As clergy from an array of denominations, we say, 'Yes' to the call before us."

 

The Interfaith Prayer Breakfast has been part of Planned Parenthood's annual convention for four years. Most of the ministers and rabbis there have known the group far longer.

 

The Episcopal Church endorsed the distribution of birth control information in the 1930s, and other mainline denominations and Jewish congregations followed.  In 1962, a Maryland clergy coalition successfully pressed the state to permit disbursal of contraception.

 

In the late 1960s, some 2,000 ministers and rabbis across the country banded together to give women information about abortion providers and to lobby for repeal of anti-abortion laws.  "The clergy could open that door because the clergy had certain moral authority," said Davis. "They balanced the moral authority of the critics."

 

It is not lost on Davis how the passion of the Christian right in its effort to abolish abortion and curtail access to birth control now mirrors the efforts of clergy 40 years ago to do the opposite. "They're a religious tradition, too, and they are moved by Scripture," he said, although the Bible says nothing explicit about abortion. "When we understood the suffering in these kinds of situations that women were in, we understood that for reasons of justice, we had to act. We're doing it for theological and biblical reasons."

 

A perception may exist that the denominations supporting abortion rights are outnumbered and out-shouted by their more conservative brethren. But that worried Davis little, he said, for he and other like-minded clergy were in the minority in the 1960s, too.

 

Comments:

Religiously dead mainline Protestant churches (depicted by the Sardis church), spiritually blind Jewish rabbis and unholy Planned Parenthood (a creation of the Devil) joined together at the hip to kill the unborn and having the temerity to invoke God’s Holy name in their murders.  How this must convulse God!  When people give up God and the Bible, they travel the slippery road that leads to perdition and subsequently the lake of fire.  Abortion is not specifically mentioned in the Bible?  What about this verse: Exodus 21:22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child , so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. Or one of the 10 Commandments: Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill (do no murder).  Some argue the fetus isn’t a living entity, but that doesn’t hold weight because life begins at the moment of conception, not when a baby is delivered.

 

In these last days, there’s an insidious spiritual battle being waged between the apostate forces of mainline Protestantism/Judaism and conservative evangelical Christians.  The former embraces the satanic humanistic endeavors of this world while the latter attempts to hold up a shining beacon to show that God’s Word is still the measure of morality.  The battle is fierce and Satan will be defeated, but not before he has liberal professing Christians and blind Jewish religious leaders do all they can to usurp God and His defined authority and precepts.  They’re willing accomplices of the Devil and they’re stoking the fires of Hell with their abortion agenda.  Their final destiny is sealed.

Pope Benedict XVI urged to ax 'Vicar of Jesus' title

April 7, 2006 -- Pope Benedict XIV, who has dropped his title "Patriarch of the West" to boost ties with Orthodox Christians, should scrap more terms tagged to his name if he wants real progress, a senior Russian Orthodox bishop said.

 

Papal titles such as "Vicar of Jesus Christ" or "Sovereign Pontiff of the Universal Church" were "unacceptable, even scandalous" for the Orthodox, Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev said in a statement published this week on his web site.

 

"Only renouncing titles stressing the universal jurisdiction of the pope, and the ecclesiological doctrine hidden behind that, would be a real step on the path toward reconciliation between the Orthodox and Catholic churches," he wrote.

 

Russian Orthodox Patriarch Alexy II said last month that he hoped for a rapid resolution to the problems between the churches.

 

There are about 220 million Orthodox Christians around the world, compared with 1.1 billion Roman Catholics.

 

Comments:  The word "vicar" is derived from the Latin word vicarias,  meaning substitute, from which is derived the English word vicarious.  Therefore, Vicar of Jesus Christ literally means “substitute for Jesus Christ”, i.e. the Antichrist.  Throughout the history of the Roman Church, all those popes who had the Vicar of Christ title were essentially antichrists.

 

1 John.2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

 

The Apostle John couldn’t have made it any plainer that we’re living in the last time when one antichrist after another has reigned from his Vatican City throne deceiving the masses of faithful followers.  Their “brothers”, the Orthodox “Christian” want unification with Rome.  Instead of separating themselves from a religious system that propagates the false hell damming doctrine of “Jesus plus works” that cannot save a soul, they want to be re‑joined to this heretic church.  Yes, the Pope will probably drop any and all titles to appease the Orthodox Church.  What’s in a title anyway?  Reunification will be worth it at any cost.  Already apostate mainline Protestant churches are begging to return to its Roman roots so why not the Orthodox Church?

 

No, I don’t believe this pope or his successor will be the Antichrist (who will be a mighty military trained man of fierce countenance turned politician), but he (Benedict is 78) or the next pope may turn out to be the Antichrist’s right hand man, the False Prophet.  The False Prophet’s mission will be to unite all the world’s faiths under one religious umbrella (Mystery Babylon) and direct their worship toward the Antichrist.  That has always been Satan’s plan, i.e. to steal the glory and worship from God’s Son.

Rolling Stones play to packed house in China

April 8, 2006 -- The Rolling Stones opened their first-ever concert in mainland China on Saturday with "Start Me Up," a song with suggestive lyrics that apparently made it past the censors who banned five other songs.

 

The so-called "world's greatest rock 'n' roll band" played to a packed house at Shanghai's 8,000-seat Grand Stage indoor stadium, where the audience was overwhelmingly foreign. Demand for tickets had driven up prices on the black market to $624.

 

In a reminder of the communist government's cautious attitude toward Western pop culture, the Stones were told not to perform five songs — "Brown Sugar," "Honky Tonk Women," "Beast of Burden," "Let's Spend the Night Together" and "Rough Justice" — because of suggestive lyrics.

 

However, "Start Me Up," which also has suggestive lyrics, was not on the list.

 

At a news conference on Friday, Jagger said he was not surprised by the demand, and added sarcastically: "I'm pleased that the Ministry of Culture is protecting the morals of the expat bankers and their girlfriends that are going to be coming."

 

He said a planned nationwide broadcast of the concert by China Central Television — a first for a Western rock show — would help expose people to his music.

 

"We like rock music and pop like the Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey and also

Jay Chou and Rain, too," said Jamie Liao, a 17-year-old with spiked hair wearing fashionably low-cut jeans and Converse sneakers.

 

Chou, a Taiwanese rapper, and Korean singer Rain are among the biggest foreign stars in China.

 

 

Italy takes pause before elections

April 8, 2006 --  Italians get a break from bitter political rhetoric Saturday, a day before general elections and at the end of a divisive race that was largely consumed by mudslinging.

 

Premier Silvio Berlusconi and his center-left rival, Romano Prodi, wrapped up their campaigns Friday -- the last day campaigning was allowed -- with the premier calling his supporters an "army of freedom" and Prodi appealing for unity.

 

"Mine is not only an appeal to go to the polls, but a call for the reconstruction of the country," said Prodi, a former premier and EU chief. "Only together can we make it."

 

Both lead fractious coalitions of parties. Prodi's Union ranges from pro-Vatican moderates to Communists. Berlusconi's House of Freedoms coalition includes Christian Democrats, former neo-fascists and an anti-immigrant party.

 

Berlusconi, a media tycoon, was elected in 2001 on high hopes that his knack for making money would translate into a business boom for Italy -- but economic growth has ground to a halt and even business leaders are turning their backs on him.

 

He has conducted an aggressive campaign, trying to close the gap that opinion polls have shown between his conservative bloc and the opposition. A poll blackout entered into force late last month.

 

Earlier Friday, he urged undecided moderate voters and Catholic ones to cast ballots, and raised the possibility he might be defeated for the second time in as many days.

 

Comments:  From being a former EU chief to being Italy’s next prime minister may seem to be a step downward (a demotion) for Romano Prodi, but the man doesn’t see it that way.    He’s had his moment in the sun like any high powered executive.  Javier Solana presently is the EU’s most powerful man.  Satan replaces one underling with another as he deems fit.  Prodi had done his part in EU integration and Solana now has his kick at the can.  Each man knows his part in Satan’s operetta. Satan’s intentions are to have point men and women preparing the groundwork for the eventual revealing of his Main Man, the Antichrist who will make Rome his capital city.  Prodi’s certain election as Italy’s next prime minister will cement Rome’s role as the center of the Revived Roman Empire with Prodi and Solana providing internal and external administrative support.

Playboy's Hefner turns 80

April 9, 2006 -- The invitation to Hefner's birthday party Saturday -- he turns 80 Sunday -- unfolds to show three photos of him: one as a toddler, one holding his new magazine in 1953, and one showing a smiling young Hefner with wavy black hair and his iconic pipe.

 

The hair is thinner now and gray, almost white in places. His hearing is gone in one ear and he has the slightest bit of trouble getting up from his library couch after the interview. He quit smoking after a stroke in 1985.

 

But otherwise, the man dressed in black silk pajamas and a scarlet silk jacket with black lapels shows few other signs that he is becoming an octogenarian.

 

"Maybe to some extent 80 is the new 40," he says, smiling. "I truly believe that age -- if you're healthy -- age is just a number. On many levels I feel younger today than I did 10, 15 years ago."

 

The famous mansion, with its free ranging exotic birds, stone grotto and game room, is a part of the fantasy he has carefully crafted around himself.

 

"I came out from behind the desk and became the living personification of the dreams and fantasies that were in the magazine," Hefner said.

 

Although he continues to personify the Playboy philosophy, he is not unaware of the passing years.

 

"You come to a point in life in which you begin to lose some very dear friends, some of whom are peers in terms of age," he said. "In the last few years, I have lost some very dear contemporaries, including my best buddy in high school; the first girl I went steady with; Mel Torme, one of my closest friends."

 

Any regrets?

 

"Certainly it is a life well-lived and I wouldn't trade places with anybody," he said. "My life has been so rewarding and so satisfying, I would be hesitant to change anything."

 

Comments:  2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

 

Verse 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

 

The Apostle Paul predicted that in the last days, men will be lovers of themselves and lovers of pleasures.  Yes, this was the way it was in the Old Roman Empire and we’re seeing it being prevalent in these days of the Revived Roman Empire.  Hugh Hefner, more than any person, has single handedly popularized the sexual revolution, the hedonistic lifestyle where men can indulge in their every fantasy.  Live, eat and be merry for tomorrow we shall all die.  Man evolved from apes so we’re all essentially animals his followers retort.  “Do it, do it until you’re satisfied”.  Christians are kill joys and they must be avoided, mocked and put down.  Humanism is the religion of the day.  I, Me and Myself comprise the three most important people in a person’s life.

 

Hugh Hefner says he has no regrets for his ”rewarding” life.  He knows that it’s only for a season and death is just around the corner.  Still, he makes no apologies for the millions of men whom he has led down the carnal decadent road that leads to Hell.  They probably don’t believe in Hell and for those that do, they plan on having one never ending grand party after another there without any Christians preaching to them.  Yes, there are no Christians in Hell, only unrepentant sinners who have lived a life solely for self.

 

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

 

 

 

New evangelical group could buck promised West Bank pullouts

April 9, 2006 -- A newly created Evangelical pro-Israel lobby group could clash head-on with an Israeli government determined to pull out from 90 percent of the West Bank by 2010 and with the Jewish groups that will line up to support it.

 

Leaders of Christians United for Israel, or CUFI, predict their group will be a major force in American politics like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the pro-Israel lobbying giant that has activists in virtually every congressional district. And they insist their support for the Jewish state won’t come with any strings, political or theological.

 

But some Jewish leaders are skeptical.

 

“It raises questions,” said Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League.

 

In November, Foxman sounded the alarm over Evangelical groups that he said were trying to “Christianize” the nation. But he said he still welcomes Evangelical support for Israel — with some conditions.

 

Comments:  What does this say about Israel’s leaders who have to have evangelical Christians see that Israel doesn’t give away more of God’s land to the Muslims?   Where are all the Jewish billionaires worldwide and the Jewish lobbyists in the U.S. Congress who ought to be those spearheading the preservation of the Jewish State?  It’s their land!  (Christians are after all just pilgrims passing through this scene on their way to Heaven; theirs is a Heavenly not an earthly citizenship.)

 

Who really cares about Israel’s existence?  Certainly not the U.S. State Department which has been for decades pressuring Israel’s prime ministers to return to the pre-June 6, 1967 War land area.  And not those Christian churches who believe in Replacement Theology which says the Church has replaced Israel in God’s plan for this world.

 

Let’s say Israel leaders are bent on giving more and more land to the Muslims.  Do they really believe her avowed enemies (who say Israel doesn’t even appear on any of their maps) will be wholly satisfied?  It’s a foolhardy Jew who believes this.  “Traitors” is the term that ought to be seared on every Jew who promotes this.  If God leaves us here a little longer, don’t be surprised to see bloody clashes between Israel’s Defence Force and evangelical Christians who will be literally fighting alongside Jewish settlers who refuse to leave their homes.  Satan and his cohorts have bull’s eye targets placed on Bible believing Christians and this will carry into the Tribulation Period when believers in Christ who opposed Satan will be martyred.

7 April 2006  In the very week that reveals more evidence of the cynicism and persistent illegality at the heart of the EU, Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson - who should concentrate on promoting free trade in a scandalously protectionist EU - pushes for a new constitution that would hand Brussels even more power.

You thought Europe's imperial ambitions were dead? Think again. Ever since French and Dutch voters threw out the constitution, Eurocrats have been busily introducing key elements of the document by the back door.

 A European public prosecutor...a defence agency..a charter of fundamental rights...a foreign minister...all these and more are being foisted on us anyway. Democracy? Who cares?

Comments: Like I covered in the 7 April news letter, Europe and its constitution is not dead. It may be wounded but it’s not dead.

 

Europe is arising to much more than any Christian expected 20 years ago. Those who were expecting 10 countries are now looking at 25 members plus 17 partners. This is the same beast rising from the sea in Rev 13:1 as the fourth beast in Dan 7:7. Many Christians get confused with which this beast really is. Is it America, Europe, the UN? Well you see, in Daniel 7:2 this scripture tells us that the “4 winds of heaven strove upon the Great Sea”, and that “four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another”.  “The Great Sea” (example) in the bible is the Mediterranean Sea. So, just like the beast with 7 heads and 10 horns that comes up out of the sea in Rev 13:1 this is describing the same last empire out of the same sea and its surrounding area. The EU Empire is rising up and with it will come the Antichrist; whose job will probably and may be already “a foreign minister” position. The constitution will bring everything into place, but right now it just needs to be healed.

 

Da 7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

April 8 2005 - Demiralp underlined that the EU's support for Turkey's membership bid has plummeted for various reasons.

Commission members from the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) also drew attention to the spreading perception in Europe of a slow pace in Turkey's reforms. While the CHP's Gaye Erbatur said she shares this view with other CHP members, Demiralp said, "There is such an understanding in Europe but to change this misconception we are preparing a reform package. The package will reach the Cabinet floor next week. Not limiting ourselves to political reforms, we might issue new laws concerning the Customs Union agreement and the Public Procurement Law. Together with these new laws, we might erase the bad impression about Turkey."

 

Comments: Every time Turkey gets their hopes up for EU membership, they are always seemed to get put on hold. Turkey has been waiting for membership in the exclusive club for years. One thing that scares EU member states is that if Turkey gets full membership, nothing will stop the flow of Muslim immigrants from other Muslim countries using Turkey as a spring board. There are no EU member countries that are Muslim at this time. Turkey has always had their foot ready in the door and is always on the outside looking in. Sooner or later Turkey will be feed up with all the maybes and jump ship. This is why I believe Turkey will never be a member of the EU club. In the bible it says Turkey whi is Togarmah and will be a member of the Gog and Magog club as they invade the Middle East and come against Israel.

April 9 2006    Mubarak: U.S. Withdrawal Would Hurt Iraq

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said in a television interview that civil war "has almost started" in Iraq and an American troop withdrawal would only make the situation worse.  Mubarak also told the Arab satellite channel Al-Arabiya on Saturday that the current unrest was Saddam Hussein's fault.

 

 

Comments: The way I see it, In order for the armies of Gog (Russia) Magog and allies to invade the Middle East and go against Israel, the U.S. must first pull their troops out of Iraq. There is talk of the U.S. pulling their troops out along with Britain, but we don’t know when. As long as there are thousands of U.S. troops on Iraqi soil, the invasion by Gog and her allies will be on hold.

 

Eze 38:16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
