Enormous Hindu temple being built in Georgia, USA

With hand-carved stone spires that tower 75 feet, it will be the tallest building in Lilburn, dominating the intersection of Rockbridge Road and Lawrenceville Highway.

 

“It’s 50-50 between those who like it and those who roll their eyes,” Warner said. “Some people think it’s way too much for Lilburn, too ostentatious,” he said.

 

The sanctuary belongs to members of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) sect of Hinduism. The Lilburn location will be the largest temple in the United States for the BAPS sect. Built at an estimated cost of $19 million, the temple complex is only the third of its kind in the country, surpassing BAPS temples in Houston and Chicago.

 

“We have never, ever, ever seen anything like this,” said Howard Brown, Lilburn’s neighbourhood improvement manager.

 

Comments:  No thanks to the Beatles, we’re now seeing the fruits of their delving into Eastern religions in the 1960s.  Hinduism, the mighty religion that holds 800 million people in India captive with its millions of pagan deities, Transcendental Meditation™, psychedelic drugs and reincarnation, is sprouting Hindu temples throughout North America.  Even small towns, USA, cannot escape the inroad of this soul gripping creation of the Devil.

 

What has happened for this cancerous religion to latch onto once healthy American cells?  The turning away from God and His Word, the rejection of Jesus, the emphasis on self, the forays into licentious sins, the fascination with Eastern mysticism, we can’t name them all, have invited the entrance of outside demonic forces to fill in the vacuum.  Man is inherently religious.  Once he refutes and rejects God in his spiritual life, he is vulnerable to demonic possession. It has always been either Jesus or the Devil.  Matthew 12:[43] When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. [44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. [45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Brits, Danes and Swedes most against EU constitution

Support for the EU among the bloc's citizens has risen to the highest level since early 1990s with two thirds favouring the concept of a European constitution, but a state-like EU charter is opposed most strongly in Britain, Denmark and Sweden.

 

According to a fresh Eurobarometer survey, to be published on Wednesday (20 June), a feeling of optimism about Europe has spread across the member states.

 

Fifty nine percent of respondents said they consider EU membership as beneficial for their country - the highest percentage since 1991, while overall support for the union stands at 57 percent, at its highest since 1994.

 

The Dutch (77%), Irish (76%) and Luxembourgers (74%) are the staunchest supporters of the EU, while the biggest drop of positive sentiment was recorded in the Czech Republic (from 51 percent in autumn 2006 to 46%) and in Latvia (from 43% to 37%).

 

Comments:  Daniel 7:[8] I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.  Most Bible prophecy authors and students agree that the current EU is the major portion of the Revived Roman Empire.  Once the North African and Mediterranean Sea countries are brought on board, the Old Roman Empire will have fully been resurrected.  Daniel 7:8 tells us that the future little horn Antichrist will literally boot out three of the original members.  In the past, when it came to listing who the objectors of the EU constitution or how the bigger countries have too much power for the EU’s good, the media consistently list three, e.g. the Brits, French and Germans.  In this article, it’s the Brits, Danes and Swedes.  Expect three big boys to oppose the revised treaty and with an increasingly impatient EU, someone will scream “Enough is enough.  We cannot drag our heels any longer.  Get with the program or get out!  If not, we’ll toss you out on your rear end.”

[Q&A] The revised EU constitution explained

The draft European Constitution was signed by all member states in October 2004. It has been largely ratified by 18 countries but was rejected by French and Dutch voters in 2005. It was designed to replace all eight EU treaties signed over the last 50 years, with the exception of the Euratom Treaty.

 

The newly envisaged "Reform Treaty", emerging from the rejected constitution, would just add amendments to previous treaties without replacing them. Under a timetable envisioned by Germany and backed by several member states, the treaty should be ratified in all countries by mid 2009, ahead of the next European elections. Most states are likely to try and avoid having a referendum on the treaty – with only Ireland and Denmark obliged to – and will aim to ratify it via their national parliaments.

 

Under current plans, the new treaty would keep most of the institutional innovations, such as a permanent EU president, a foreign minister under a different title, the same distribution of parliamentary seats, a reduced number of commissioners and a clause on withdrawal from the EU.

 

On the other hand, it would drop state-like features such as the name "constitution" , as well as a reference to EU symbols (hymn, flag, anthem, motto). It would also drop a sentence on the primacy of EU law and new names for various types of EU legislation.

 

The Reform Treaty is likely to provide countries with a chance to opt out of EU policies in the area of police and criminal law - something pushed for by the UK.

 

Comments:  The EU can no longer hold referenda to allow individual citizens to decide if they want an EU constitution.  People have inherent nationalistic agenda determine their daily decision making.  Instead, let the parliaments that voters put into power decide for the people.  We can’t go to the populace for every decision that needs to be made.  That would be inefficient and time consuming.  Besides, that’s why we have national parliaments; to allow legislators decide for their constituents.

 

It should be noted that once the revised version (it’s really a repackaging of the original) of the EU treaty gets ratified by all national parliaments, the action really gets hot and heavy.  A permanent EU president (can this person be the Antichrist?) and his foreign minister (can this dude be his right hand man, the False Prophet?) will steer the EU ship through uncharted waters.

Report: IAF training for possible strike against Iran

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has been training on long-range flights, including refueling in mid-flight, in preparation for potential strikes against Iranian nuclear targets, the Ma'ariv daily reported Friday.

 

The training program has been taking place for some time but has only been released for publication Friday.

 

Intelligence assessments received by the defense establishment concur that once Iran passes the point of no return in its nuclear efforts, the entire Middle East will enter a frantic nuclear armament race. Egypt and Saudi Arabia are expected to lead such an armament race.

 

Comments:   The “who wants to be a millionaire” question is: Will it be the U.S. or Israel that will take out Iran’s nuclear facilities?  America does not need more anti‑U.S. sentiments that it already has.  If Israel goes at it alone, she will be opening up herself to Islam’s full fury.

 

Unlike 1981 when the IAF bomb busted Saddam Hussein’s nuclear ambitions, the Arab/Muslim world was actually thankful because you could count the number of friends Saddam had with one hand.  Iran is the acknowledge leader of radical Islam.  You take out the mother ship and her children will come after you for retribution.  With Shiite Hamas and Syria just a stone throw away, these two orphans will strike back at Israel with everything in their lethal arsenal.  A total all-out Middle East-Gulf region war will ensue.  Expect Russia to get involved for the land of Magog has been itching to lay waste on the Jewish state.  Quite a few eschatologists have speculated that Israel’s destruction of Iran’s nuclear program will precipitate the Gog-Muslim invasion of Israel as predicted in Ezekiel 38.

A Special March of The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and an Exciting godly Event on the Temple Mount on “Jerusalem Day” 28th of Iyar, 5767 - May 16, 2007 Commemorating the 40 Year Anniversary of the Liberation of the Temple Mount and Jerusalem by the Israeli Forces of G-d in the Year 1967.

 

The G–d of Israel appeared before the Faithful Movement in a unique way when they entered upon the Temple Mount to pray and to meet the G–d of Israel.

 

Since 1967 the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement, which was anointed and committed by the G–d of Israel to rebuild the Temple on the holy Temple Mount in Jerusalem, marches every year on “Jerusalem Day”, the day that became a holiday that commemorates the liberation of the Temple Mount and the biblical Jerusalem, from the “Ammunition Hill” to the holy hill of G-d. This is one of the most important events of the Faithful Movement in her intensive activities for the building of the end-time Temple of G-d in the place that G-d chose to dwell among His people Israel thousands of years ago. A major part of the Faithful work is to educate the people of Israel to be again a biblical nation and to fulfill their mission to be a “holy nation, a kingdom of priests and a light to the nations” (Exodus 19:5-6). The Faithful Movement believes that for this purpose G-d created Israel and the rebuilding of the Temple, to be a house of prayer, worship, love and as a tower of light in the middle of the ocean for Israel and for all the nations in the lifetime of our generation, is a condition and an opening of the door for the fulfillment of this major godly cause of Israel exactly as the prophet Isaiah shared with us in one of his most exciting prophesies:

 

“The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.” (Isaiah 2:1-5).

 

Comments:  Bible prophecies always come to past, no exceptions.  Yes, the Third Jewish Temple will be erected in the near future either displacing the existing Dome of the Rock or located just adjacent to it.  Once the temple is finished, animal sacrifice will re-instituted.  However, at the midpoint of the 7-year Tribulation Period, the Antichrist reveals his true nature by entering the temple, defiling it and proclaiming himself as God.  Dr. David Reagan said (and I concur with him) that although the Third Temple will be built, it’s not sanctioned by God.  When Jesus died on the cross as the ultimate sacrificial lamb, His shed blood alone cleanses us from all sins.  Animal sacrifices in the Old Testament were foretelling Jesus’s future atonement for sins by His blood shedding.  Today, all people, Gentiles AND Jews have to come to Jesus to have their sins taken away.  There’s no Dual Covenant track, i.e. one rail for Gentiles and another for Jews. Just because they’re God’s chosen people thus they’re not exempted because of God’s promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Christians who say it’s useless to preach Jesus to the Jews are incorrect.  Jesus is the only way to Heaven for Gentiles and Jews alike.

 

What about the Temple Mount Faithful Jews?  They don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah who had already come. Their dream of erecting the Third Temple and performing animal sacrifices to fulfill Scriptures is just that, but what they’re doing is constructing an edifice for the abomination of desolation by the Antichrist.  They’re not saved.  When the Rapture event occurs, they’ll be left behind along with all unsaved Gentiles and religious and secular Jews.  The fact that 1/3 of God’s chosen people will eventually get saved prior to the messianic millennium reign of Christ is a postulation that there will be a second chance for people who have heard the Gospel of God to get saved after the Rapture event.  In this modern hi-tech society in which even some natives in Africa have laptop computers, who really hasn’t heard the Gospel?  The second chance possibility should comfort those believers who are hesitant to leave this world because they have unsaved relatives and friends.  Just go ahead and give the Good News to them and pray fervently for them to be saved before the Rapture event so that they’ll escape the wrath that’s to come upon this sin filled world.
